Research at NMHI

Research is fundamental to the New Mexico Heart Institute mission and relies on the participation of human volunteers to study potential treatments for diseases and conditions.

Our Clinical Research Department is represented by a team of full-time research coordinators who are dedicated to carrying out the research component of our mission through heightened patient knowledge, the development of new therapies, and the innovation of new technologies.

All of our staff are educated in "Good Clinical Practice" which assures the highest-quality of care and observance of patient rights and confidentiality. Our research efforts produce new and emerging medical care benefiting both our current and future cardiovascular patients.
